Struggling with dull skin, fine lines, or a lack of firmness? At Cryo Wellness, we provide an efficient, cutting-edge solution with our Cryo Facials. These unique service revitalises your skin, leaving your complexion feeling tighter and looking brighter
We have three different Cryo Facials, Cryoskin Facelift, Cryo Facial Express and Ultimate Cryo Facial.
The CryoSkin Facelift uses cold temperatures to rejuvenate and tighten the skin. Alternating hot and cold increases the oxygen and nutrient supply to the cells of the skin (fibroblasts), boosting the production of collagen and elastin. The skin is immediately tightened, wrinkles and fine lines are visibly reduced. The skin pores retract with the cold to give you an instant glow. This treatment simultaneously provides a lymphatic drainage that improves puffiness and illuminates the face. As the cold is also anti-inflammatory it will positively impact redness and spots.
The Cryo Facial Express uses a gentle flow of nitrogen vapour to stimulate collagen production, increase rejuvenation, improves elasticity, refining pores and giving a glow to the skin. During the facial, your skin will immediately become tighter and your blood will flow faster due to the vasoconstriction. As this circulation improves you’ll start to notice a more even tone in your skin, a decrease in inflammation and puffiness and a reduction of dark circles under the eyes. With regular treatments this can become a long-lasting effect and leave you with a lasting ‘glow’.
The Ultimate Cryo Facial includes the exact treatment of the Cryo Facial Express but gives you a more traditional feel of a facial. Based on your skin type it will include a luxurious, pre-cleanse, cleanse, tone, exfoliate and moisturise before the 12-minute Express treatment and will end with a coating of SPF to protect your skin!
Everyone’s different, and some clients may need more or less sessions than others, but we recommend a course of 6 sessions for optimum results for the Cryo Facial Express and course of 5 for the Cryoskin Facelift, but clients normally see a big difference from the first session. Or if you wanted to feel contoured and chiselled for a special event you can always book one session a few days before the event.
The Cryoskin Facelift appointments are around 40 minutes. Your face will be massaged using the cold wand (between 5-7°c) and massaged with the therapist’s warm hand alternatively (this creates vasodilation and vasoconstriction which oxygenates blood flow).
The Cryo Facial Express should take around 12 minutes and pain free, the machine will measure the temperature of your skin and ensure that it is cold enough to stimulate the correct response before it stops, that is why it’s around 12 minutes but could be slightly longer or shorter.
The Ultimate Cryo Facial will take around 40 minutes as well although the Facial Express will still remain the same lenght of time during the treatment.
Cryo Facial Express is a quick 12-minute facial treatment that leverages the power of cryotherapy to rejuvenate your skin. It’s designed to leave your skin feeling tighter and looking brighter.
Cryotherapy stimulates collagen production in your skin, leading to increased firmness and elasticity. It also improves blood circulation, imparting a healthy, youthful glow.
To book a Cryo Facial Express treatment, you can either conveniently book online through our website or call/contact the clinic directly to secure your appointment.
Unlike ice baths, Cryotherapy doesn’t run the risk of hyperthermia. It uses cold temperatures to stimulate the body’s healing processes without prolonged exposure to icy water.
